Caffeine Cruisers
The Caffeine Cruisers are not a club or a bicycle user group … just some people who like to ride together without fuss or obligation.
Come ride with us, you will be very welcome no matter what your standard. The company is guaranteed congenial. Fast or slow, we make sure no- one rides alone.
We ride every Saturday morning from behind the Bairnsdale Court House, departing at 8.10am, via “the long way” to the coffee shop opposite Safeway arriving about 10am for a good yak, or laugh over whatever. The accent is on social aspects, and the route is selected (chosen more like) by consensus.
During the daylight saving months we also ride, Thursday evenings from the same place (behind Bairnsdale Court House) at 5.30pm via the Rail Trail to the Nicholson Hotel for a dim sim and a coke (or a beer) and a yak, and return by 8pm (or dusk which ever comes first)
About four times a year we undertake day rides, usually on the first Sunday in a month.
We also plan for four weekend rides a year, particularly in the summer months, one to ride the Melbourne Bike Trails (Friday night > Sunday from Rydges Riverwalk Motel)m one ride to the Alpine Trail ( Friday night > Sunday pm at a town along the trail), an Orbost ride to Buchan ride, staying at the Backpackers Lodge, and a Swifts Creek base camp ride.

Note We are not a Club or Bicycle User Group . We do not charge fee for membership. We are just a group who choose to ride together for fellowship, without liability. We advise participants to be members of Bicycle Victoria, which automatically entitles insurance entitlements whilst cycling.
